Please read this BEFORE you do the meditation at the end of the article:
The Higher Self is your true Self. It is connected deeply to God/All That Is, and is an eternal, omnipotent, conscious, and intelligent being. It never incarnates as its whole self on earth. The one who you identify as “you”, is only a small projection of this Divine Self. This does not mean the “you” on earth is a lesser being. You are here to bring more experience, and learning to yourself, and to keep evolving as a soul. And as the earthly “you”, you forget who you truly are. Your Higher Self speaks to you through your Inner Voice, always guiding you, helping you. You truly are your Higher Self, but just for the while you are on earth, the part of you that is on earth is aware of itself only as the one on earth.
2. Why would it help to be one’s Higher Self in meeting a soulmate?
When we are focusing only on our earthly awareness, we might not be fully aware of what is right for us. We might think we know, but most often we don’t. When you are doing something as important as calling a soulmate to you — be it a romantic partner, your future child, your future friend, or your future colleague — make a list of the qualities you seek, and do so from a position of higher awareness. When you do this from the awareness of your Higher Self, you will be manifesting a soulmate who is truly right for you at this time, and not call one your ego thinks is right. When we are operating from the level of awareness of our Higher Self, our thoughts are beautiful, our emotions are bright, and our vibration is high. And in life, we attract to ourselves mostly people of the same vibration. So, it will be best that we operate from our highest awareness, and attract to ourselves the most compatible soulmate. This ensures a much happier relationship, greater spiritual growth, and happiness.
3. IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THE MEDITATION:
i) Do it at least once a day. Doing twice – morning and evening would be much more beneficial.
ii) In case you do not know about the colors and positions of the chakras (energy centers) in our bodies, here is a picture to help you:
Crown chakra: Top of the head, Violet/Purple
Third Eye: In the forehead between the eyebrows, Dark Blue/Indigo
Throat chakra: Throat, Blue
Heart chakra: Heart area, Emerald Green
Solar Plexus chakra: Upper abdomen, Yellow
Sacral chakra: 2” below belly button, Orange
Root chakra: End of spine, tailbone area, Ruby Red
iii) The last part of the meditation, where I ask you to press the tips of your thumb and index finger is based on an NLP technique called “Anchoring”. When you do this enough number of times, you can bring back the feelings you had during the meditation, by simply pressing the tips of your thumb and index finger. You can choose right or left hand for this purpose, but make sure you are consistent in which side you use. Anchoring is useful because you can bring back the effects of this meditation, even when you are not meditating, by pressing the thumb and index finger together. So effectively, you can bring your Higher Self awareness to you as many times as you want, and whenever you want.
