Learn to talk with your angels:
Our angels exist at much higher vibrations than us. So to meet them, and be able to converse with them, we need to find a common ground. We need to raise our vibrations, and they need to lower theirs a bit. We need to improve our psychic senses (we all have psychic senses – dormant or not), so we can communicate better.
Here is one simple way to raise your vibration and ask your guardian angel for help and advice:
- Settle down comfortably and close your eyes.
- Breathe comfortably and easily, and focus on your breath for just a few minutes.
- Bring your focus to your heart.
- See a golden ball of light in your heart.
- Each time you inhale, make this light brighter, and each time you exhale, make the light bigger.
- Do this till you are filled with golden light and you are sitting within a bright ball of golden light.
- Now imagine a beautiful place. You can imagine it anyway you want — a waterfall, beach, mountain, garden…anything that you find beautiful. Take a few minutes to imagine this place.
- Now imagine a bench there. Imagine sitting on the bench.
- Ask your guardian angel to come sit next to you.
- If you are very visual, you will see someone come and sit next to you. If you are more a person who feels rather than see, you will sense a beautiful presence sit next to you.
- Notice whatever you see or feel.
- Begin with asking simple questions. And practice “hearing”. You will most probably hear the answers as thoughts, or feelings, or a sudden knowing.
- Do not get stressed and “work hard”. This is not about “working hard”. This is about relaxing and allowing.
- If you are not able to hear anything at first, start imagining a conversation in your mind. You will notice that with practice, soon you start having real and valuable conversations with your angel.
Please remember this takes practice. So set aside some time daily to practice. The more you practice, the better you get at this.

Hi swanti, hope u r well. Wanted to give an update, i trying this everyday same time of day trying to contact my mom still. No luck yet. Still trying though. Not sure how much longer i can take not having her with me. But im trying. Best wishes. Thanks for the article
Are you starting with making up a conversation in your mind first? Sometimes our human brain needs that to start. Later you will realize that you are not making up the conversation. She is really talking to you.
I will ask a question, i say it out loud, my eyes r closed. And then i think of what she may say. Is that right? Im really trying, i miss her so much.
1. Close your eyes.
2. Breathe for sometime, focusing on your breath.
3. Each time you exhale, tell your body to relax.
4. Imagine your body getting limp and loose and totally relaxed. Being relaxed is KEY in this conversation. It is 100% needed.
5. Count back slowly from 100 to 1, imagining relaxing more at each count.
6. Call your mum in your mind. No speaking aloud in this meditation.
7. Imagine her standing in front of you.
8. Try and feel what you feel in her presence…see if you are getting some thoughts that feel like her words.
9. Ask her a question in your mind. Do not open your eyes, and do not talk aloud.
10. See if you get any thoughts as answer.
11. You will not hear sounds. She will speak to you in your thoughts.
12. If you do not get an answer, imagine and answer, and start imagining a conversation.
13. Soon you will realize she is really talking to you. You will know because you will realize those are her words in your thoughts, her way of talking, not your way, you will feel warmth, or cool breeze, or tingling, or chills or goose bumps. You might feel so loved that you will feel like crying – this time not tears of sadness, but those of feeling very loved.
14. Practice this.

Swati, thank u i have been trying your suggestions. No luck yet but i wont give up. In your experiences, does cremation make it harder to reach out to us?
Not at all. It doesn’t matter whether a body is cremated or buried. When the soul leaves the body, it is not attached to what people do with the body. Roxanne, two things needed for a successful conversation with Spirit is 1) A happy mind 2) A calm mind. Give yourself time, love, patience because you are grieving. I love your determination. And I know for sure that you WILL succeed at communication with your mother. For now, please please take care of yourself, and do things that make you happy. Your mom will be really happy when she sees you smiling.

There are times that I just want to totally give up. All the pain I suffer from my body, like R.A. and Lupus. Plus being homeless and just trying to make it in this world, so hard. I don’t have any friends or family to talk too. I feel lost and lonely. i cry daily and I am getting more and more depressed each day. I would end my life but that is a sin, so I don”t know where to turn or have any money to get help. Please could you give me advice.
